Join us for a fiendishly good time as your favorite fairy-tale Villains take over Historic Rock Castle for the 6th annual Castle of Villains, presented by City of Hendersonville and Hendersonville Parks & Recreation, Historic Rock Castle, and Character Visits 4 U!
A truly unique Halloween experience for all ages!
With a new construction project potentially beginning Fall 2023, we will not be having the Castle of Villains event this year. While we’re sad to miss the tradition after 5 years, we are looking forward to bringing even more villainous magic to the event in future!

Trick or Treating Meet & Greet
Wear your Halloween costume and bring your Trick-or-Treating crew for a night of villainous fun. A full cast of lovable miscreants awaits you as you trick-or-treat through the Rock Castle grounds!
Time: 6:30pm - 9:00pm

***Tickets are non-refundable / non-transferable
Children age 1 and up require a General Admission ticket
ALL guests under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by a parent/guardian AT ALL TIMES. Children (anyone under 16 years old) may not under any circumstance be dropped off at the event, or be allowed to walk the event unsupervised. If our staff finds an unaccompanied child under 16 years old, they will be detained and their parents contacted to pick them up.
Presale Tickets will go on sale in September
This is a limited capacity event. Admission will be available at the gate unless the event hits capacity at any point. Admission is not guaranteed without a pre-purchased ticket.
In an effort to keep lines short and make sure everyone has a wonderful experience, Presale Tickets require choosing a time to enter the event. Admission may still be available at the gate, but is very likely to sell out, especially for the earlier time slots. Please check our website and Facebook page for updates if you plan to attend without a ticket.
DO NOT arrive prior to your ticketed entry time. You will be asked to come back later.

VIP Tricks & Treats with the Villains
Join us for a not-so-scary VIP party before the gates open to the public! We'll have a spook-tacular good time enjoying hot chocolate, cider, and snacks as we witness the magical arrival of the Villains on their way to take over the Castle! There will even be a unique opportunity to get a photo with ALL the Villains at once!
Time: 5:00pm - 6:00pm
Tickets: $35/first participant $30/each additional

***Children age 1 and up require a VIP ticket
** A VIP ticket includes Meet & Greet admission (no additional ticket for the VIP participant is required)
** Parents/guardians accompanying children to the VIP event do not require a VIP ticket, but DO require an adult general admission ticket ($8/each presale only)
** Due to space restrictions, each VIP Ticket Holder is limited to TWO accompanying adults for the VIP portion of the event (each adult requires an adult ticket).
** VIP Seating during the event and Snacks/Beverages will be reserved for the VIP Ticket Holder only. Accompanying Adults will be asked to sit or stand behind the main VIP area so that all the little ones will have a good view of the Villains magically arriving at Rock Castle. (Toddlers/Pre-schoolers will be able to sit on the lap of an accompanying parent in the VIP seating area if that is preferred). Thank you for your understanding as we do everything we can to make each kiddos’ experience the most magical!
** Our grown up Villains fans are always welcome, as well! If you are an adult attending the VIP event without a child, a VIP ticket is required **

We will be announcing which Villains will be attending in the weeks leading up to the event! And if you attended past years’ events, we have some wickedly fun surprises in store!
**While we encourage ALL of our guests to wear their Halloween costumes, we also know that some of you have really amazing costumes that match some of the Villains who will be haunting the Castle at this event. We respectfully ask that all guests age 13 and up who are dressed as Villains to please refrain from posing for photos with other guests and instead point them towards the Villains who have magically appeared at Rock Castle and are waiting to meet our guests. Because everyone knows there's only ONE real Maleficent, and we want to make sure to keep that magic alive! Thank you so much for your understanding!
