What is Admission cost?

Are there discounts available for groups, seniors, etc?

$5 / person, age 4 and up, at the Gate as you drive in

All Admission for this event is $5 / person, age 4 and up


Are Reservations required?

How do we make a reservation?

Reservations are only required for groups arriving in a bus or large capacity vehicle (15 passenger van, etc). Otherwise, each guest/family will pay individually as they drive in the gates, and may arrive anytime between 9am and 1pm.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Exact cash is requested for Admission at the gate, to keep traffic moving smoothly. However, cards & Venmo are also accepted.

We accept cash, cards, & Venmo at the Concessions/Gift Shop.


Are dogs allowed?

No, dogs are not allowed at this event.


Is this event wheelchair accessible?

The grounds are fairly flat and relatively easily traversed by wheelchair.

The interior of the historic home is not wheelchair accessible, as there are stairs required to access each entrance, but we will have information about the home and Smith family available at several locations around the event.

ALL parking is in a field, first come first serve.

There will be multiple ADA portable restrooms available.


Are outside food & beverages allowed?

Is there a place to picnic?

Yes, you are welcome to bring outside food and drinks.

NO Glass; absolutely NO alcohol.

Yes, there is a designated picnic area next to the Pavilion. There are several picnic tables which are first come first serve.

There will be Concessions available as well. (snacks, chips, candy, waters, sodas, Gatorade)


Is smoking permitted on the grounds?

No, this is an absolutely no-smoking event


Will the event be rescheduled in the case of rain?

Due to the fact that many of our historical demonstrators and reenactors travel from out of State to be here, and are generally booked at other historical events throughout the year, no, we are not able to reschedule this event in the case of a rain out.
